Busker Royal – FELL: Two fallers in a day…might have been 2 winners!

Mumbles Pier  – UNPLACED: Was bang there until the final flight. Weakened very late on into 5th

Manifest – 2nd ew @ 9/2: Got 6/1 so not too bad. Needs further for sure…

Cityscape – 4th ew @ 10/1: No luck in running, had to switch. Ran on strongly late on. Thankfully paying 4 places.

Desert Creek – UNPLACED: Had nowhere to go. Run best forgiven

Puff – WON ew @ 7/1: Stayed on very strongly

Lady of The Desert – 3rd: Quickened really well but didnt last home. Will be top-class 6f horse!

Gidam Gidam, Scots Dragoon and Faasel – all UNPLACED: All pulled up in the Scottish National.

Tribe – WON ew @ 7/1: An easy win.

Riptide – 2nd ew @ 5/1: Plugged on when passed by easy winner

Another frustrating day with 1 3rd place, 1 4th place and a faller thanks to a flippin’ great hole in the course. Can the week get any worse? Of course it can…there is always today! Despite all the thumbsdown, there have been just enough winners and placed horses to keep the LSP at only -£6 for the month, so not a wholesale disaster yet….

Orpenindeed – 3rd @ 15/2: Ran a solid race and rewarded each way to bring some repsite to a very unsatisfactory day.

Rjeef – 4th @ 14/1: Another frustrating 4th at a big price. Missed out by half a length

Delightfully – FELL: Who knows what might have happened had a big hole not appeared on the course and tripped her up between flights 2 and 3. Thankfully she was OK! Very frustrating again.

Mr Irons – UNPLACED: Ran poorly

Fullandby – UNPLACED: Ran even worse!

Golden Stream – UNPLACED. Sorry for the poor effort at Newmarket today. This one just was not good enough

Dancing David – 2nd @ 6/1: Hope you also took the recommended forecast

Kingdom of Fife – UNPLACED: Again, not good enough on the day

Calypso Star – 2nd @ 15/8: Tapped for toe most of the way. Finished like a train. Just failed. Unlucky

Sedgewick – WON @ 5/2: Always handy and quickened up well. Could go in again!

Mirror Lad – UNPLACED: Looked a tricky ride.

Fromsong – 3rd: Formbook not worked out there. Disappointed with that.

Resplendent Alpha – UNPLACED: Could never get going. I think it knew I was on!

Beauchamp Wizard – UNPLACED: Rubbish effort

Burnbrake – UNPLACED: Got a bit excited turning for home, but weakened late on. Time for bed and hope for better luck tomorrow

High Twelve – 4th @ 9/2: Again, mightily frustrating to miss out by one position.

Principal Role – 3rd @ 13/2: Ran well enough and was happy with a 3rd place here

Black Snowflake – UNPLACED: Wasn’t good enough and 16/1, although seemed big, turned out to be rubbish!

Swiss Cross – UNPLACED: Pulled too hard.

Jazacosta – UNPLACED: Ran well enough, but effort on the outside flattened out

Teen Ager – WON @ 6/1: Hope you got the 9/1 opening price. Always handy, quickened clear 2f out, held on well.

Dingaan – 3rd @ 16/1: Ran on well but couldnt quite get there. Good run

Gold Rules – WON @ 5/2: Hit the front 2f out. Went clear. Held on well

Ponting – UNPLACED: Ran poorly

Harrison George – WON @ 11/2: Very impressive winner and hope you got the early 8/1! The write-up also pointed you to the chances of Albaqaa who also bagged a win later on the card

Sir Louis – 3rd @6/5: A little unlucky given he was hampered but honestly, I am not convinced he would have won.

Flouncing – UNPLACED: Disappointed. Perhaps hasnt trained on?

Sassanian – 4th @ 9/2: Squeezed out final furlong. Just missed the places. Unlucky

Striding Edge – UNPLACED: Finished a fast closing 5th. Another furlong, might have won!

Avonside – 2nd @ 3/1: Opened a lot shorter than I anticipated. Ran really well and only missed the win by a neck

St Killians Run ew 3rd 9/2: did not run as well as I hoped but still managed to place at 9/2, quarter odds.

Shilpa ew – UNPLACED: didn’t last home. Disappointing

Balinderry Park ew – UNPLACED: opposite of above – could never get there and actually ran an eyecatching race in 6th. Tried over 3m he could be one to go with next time

Vino Griego ew – UNPLACED:very bad mistake 3 out cost him I reckon. Was bang there and moving up. May well have placed without that.

Illustrious Blue ew – 3RD @ 10/1: pulled hard early, moved up 3f out, kept on well for the eachway money.

Musaafer – UNPLACED: Disappointing. No excuses

Gazboolou – 4th @ 7/1: Just missed the money by a whisker. Unfortunate.

My Will ew – FELL: only a fun bet but the fun didnt last long with this one.
